Abbey Skinner, BS, MIFHI, HHP

Abbey Skinner earned her Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine in 2011 from Everglades University while serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Abbey has always had a passion for holistic healthcare and nutrition, which prompted her to separate from 14 years of service in May of 2014 to follow her dreams of helping others and continuing her education.

Abbey is currently enrolled in her second year of study toward her Master of Science in Nutrition (human clinical nutrition track) from Maryland University of Integrative Health; she plans to complete her degree and CNS in 2018. In addition, she graduated from the Cortiva Institute’s 750-hour massage therapy program in 2016 and is currently studying the Brain Warrior Way with Amen Clinics.

Abbey is a former instructor for the Community College of the Air Force where she taught airborne communication courses. She has trained with Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo on the Blood and GenoType Diets and has earned a Fellow and Master Instructor Certification from the Institute for Human Individuality (IFHI). She also holds two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Information Systems Technology and Instructor of Technology and Military Science, as well as an associate degree in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University. Abbey is also an ACHS graduate and holds a Diploma in Holistic Health Practice (HHP).

Abbey’s hobbies include: World travel, walking, researching health and nutrition, meeting new people, cleansing, spending time with loved ones, inspiring others, and sleeping at least eight hours every evening!
