Spread the Word: Hometown News Release Information

Congratulations! You've achieved graduation from American College of Healthcare Sciences! We encourage you to celebrate your success by sharing news about you important and life-changing achievement by sending a personalized press release to your local news organizations. We've provided you with some sample language and formatting suggestions below. This is a great way to share your new credentials with your community and highlight your training, academic honors, and recognition from your peers. So, spread the word! Here's how:

  1. Use the sample press release draft below and customize your announcement with your program and personal details.
  2. Contact your local news organizations and other local media publications and ask for the best contact for press releases. These can often be sent by fax or email. The publication may also publish this information on their website.
  3. Distribute your press release to all of the local organizations you've identified.
  4. If sending by email, copy the release directly into an e-mail message addressed to your local newspaper(s). Use the subject line “Local Student Graduates from American College of Healthcare Sciences" or something similar that will catch the reader's attention.
