Maximum Allowable Transfer Credit

Refer to ACHS’s policy on Maximum Allowable Transfer Credit for more information on transfer credit limits for AP course exams and other transfer credit.

Procedure: Receiving Credit

To receive credit, you must request that the College Board send your official AP score report to ACHS’s Registrar’s Office at registrar@achs.edu. Prospective students can do this at any point during the admissions process; current students should request ACHS academic credit prior to the registration deadline for the course for which they are requesting credit.

ACHS has a designated institution code for college board AP score requests. Our code is 9205.

Students must allow enough time for ACHS to receive and evaluate the AP score report and process the award of credit. The Registrar’s Office will validate the score report and credit will be noted on the student’s academic plan provided at the time of enrollment for new students or during subsequent registrations for continuing students. Students can also view all transfer of credit awarded in the ACHS student portal.

For more information on taking AP exams through the College Board, please visit their website at https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/home

Note: This policy is subject to change as ACHS conducts periodic reviews of credit policies. For questions about the status of your AP credit, please contact your admissions advisor (for prospective students) or your student services advisor (for current students).
