Ken Wilson, BA, MA

Ken has B. A. in History and an M.A in History from California State University Northridge where he received several Academic awards including Best Undergraduate Paper and Best Graduate Paper. His concentration was in United States history and teaches various courses on U.S. History at several colleges. He is a member of Phi Alpha Theta. Ken played basketball for George Mason University until an ankle injury ended his playing days. Prior to teaching he worked several different jobs including a career as a roadie/stagehand for over 25 years. He also works as an Academic Adviser at Portland Community College. He is a volunteer basketball coach at PCC and is a member of the PCC Athletic Hall of Fame. In his spare time, he listens to music, buys and sells records and music memorabilia, reads history books and westerns, and travels when possible.
