Position Description

This position functions as the main point of contact and support to existing and prospective NANP members. The Member Relations Assistant is responsible for all communications with those who contact the NANP for information and guidance. Responsible for building strong relationships between the NANP and those in or interested in the holistic nutrition and healthcare industry, this position is vitally important to NANP’s success and the success of its members.


  • Respond to NANP general and member inquiries received via all communication channels
  • Return voicemail inquiries and re-route voicemails to the appropriate members of the NANP Team
  • Process new and renewing membership applications
  • Provide Instagram handle from new member applications to Marketing Specialist
  • Update and send membership certificates to members
  • Process and track professional member Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
  • Submit updated CEU Reports to members
  • Provide membership reports in Team Meetings
  • Act as frontline contact at the NANP Registration Desk at the annual conference
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must possess an in-depth understanding of the NANP, nutrition programs, CEU offerings, the annual conference, etc.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage workflow and work independently
  • Ability to attend and work at the annual NANP Conference
