Holistic nutritionists, we thought you’d want to know that the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) currently has several unpaid internship opportunities available. These internships can be completed remotely, so be sure to check them out!
The NANP, the only professional business league wholly dedicated to furthering the cause, education and standards of the holistic nutrition industry, is looking for students and graduates who want to learn the inner workings of a professional association and the holistic nutrition industry. Interns will work with NANP staff to gain hands-on experience in their area of interest and may also be compensated with a one-year NANP membership. A written recommendation is also available for participants.
This is a great opportunity for American College of Healthcare Sciences‘ (ACHS) holistic nutrition students and graduates to apply the holistic nutrition concepts learned in their ACHS courses, grow from person-to-person mentorship, and gain valuable experience in a professional environment.
NANP internship applicants must:
Be available to work 10-15 hours per week. If intern is located near an NANP team member, he/she will have the option to work at the office space. Otherwise, the intern will be able to work from home/school with flexible hours;
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of computer competency; and
Be self-motivated, organized, willing to help with any project no matter how large or small and be able to balance multiple priorities at once.
Available internship positions include:

Tasks include constituent communication, sharing fundraising tactics, grassroots fundraising tactics, grant search and application, and more. Other tasks may include communication and interacting with exhibitors, sponsors, attendees, volunteers and other organizations to grow NANP awareness and recruit participants.
Event Management Intern will assist the Events & Communications Manager in the planning and execution of the association’s events and conferences.
