Victory Media, publisher of Military Spouse magazine, announced ACHS is a 2018 Military Spouse Friendly School®. This designation is a companion to the annual Military Friendly Schools® list, which has designated ACHS a Military Friendly® School for nine years in a row (since 2009). The 2018 list of Military Spouse Friendly Schools® includes more than 100 schools across 11 categories and “recognizes those higher education institutions that actively recruit and support spouses of active duty service members while acknowledging and supporting military spouse students through the unique challenges of military life,” says Victoria Media. ACHS was evaluated using public data sources and information from Victoria Media’s proprietary survey, which included questions about admissions, retention, career counseling, mentoring programs for veterans, flexible learning options, and concerns specific to military spouses and families like deployment and relocation. ACHS will be featured on the list of 2018 Military Spouse Friendly Schools® in the April edition of Military Spouse magazine and on the militaryfriendly.com website.
