Portland, OR— March 6, 2014—American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS.edu) Founder and President, Dorene Petersen, will be the featured presenter at a special workshop hosted by the International Center of Advanced Aromatherapy (ICAA) at WonGwang Digital University in Seoul, Korea, March 22-23, 2014. Petersen, a clinical aromatherapy expert with more than 35 years’ experience in the field, also serves as Chair of the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) and oversees the ACHS Master of Science in Aromatherapy program, the first and only accredited masters-level aromatherapy degree program.

Petersen’s aromatherapy workshop, called ICAA Special Seminar—Dorene Petersen, is a two-day event featuring six presentations on topics for aromatherapy professionals of varied clinical experience and aromatherapy education, including: Aromatherapy Formulae: Therapeutic Uses of Aromatherapy; Therapeutic Blending & Notable Biological Action (Synergy); Safety: Internal & External Use; What Smell is That?; Blending Skills; and Industry Organizations: Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC), Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), and American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) accredited career Degree Programs.
