Portland, Ore.—February 24, 2021—American College of Healthcare Sciences’ (ACHS) President and Founder, Dorene Petersen, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tiffany Rodriguez as the college’s new Chief Academic Officer.
As Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Rodriguez will work in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team; Center for Excellence in Teaching, Technology and Assessment (CETTA) Team; Program Chairs; and other stakeholders across the institution to support the institution’s culture of commitment to student retention and success, academic integrity and innovation, and all aspects of higher education compliance.
ACHS President Dorene Petersen shared, “Dr. Rodriguez has proven experience with data-driven methods in institutional research, and she will be a valuable asset to our institution and our students.”
Over the last decade, Rodriguez’s work has focused on supporting institutions in the areas of Institutional Effectiveness, programmatic and regional accreditation, new product development, and strategic planning.
“I am honored to be joining American College of Healthcare Sciences. As leaders in online education and sustainable practices, my work will be focused on advancing ACHS’s mission of providing leadership in holistic health education, and to build on the legacy of our more than 40-year history. I look forward to working with our outstanding faculty, students, and staff,” Rodriguez says.
Rodriguez holds a Ph.D. in Biomechanics and Bachelor of Science in Health and Kinesiology from Texas A&M University. As a faculty member, Dr. Rodriguez taught courses in Research Methods, Motor Neuroscience, and Biomechanics.
