Julie Moreschi has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 1985. She currently works full time as the Dietetic Internship Director at Benedictine University located in Lisle, IL, and she teaches summer camp sessions at the Green Earth Institute organic farm located in Naperville, IL. Julie earned her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University.
Julie’s professional interests lie primarily in the areas of community nutrition, maternal and child wellness, and obesity prevention/intervention from preconception through pre-K. She is a chapter author in two textbooks—Managing Food and Nutrition Services for the Culinary, Hospitality, and Nutrition Professions and Nutrition and Public Health—and is involved in many community organizations, including serving on the Nutrition Advisory Council at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and the Advisory Board and several committees for the obesity prevention coalition FORWARD (Fighting Obesity Reaching healthy Weight Among Residents of DuPage).
