ACHS Graduate Featured in Article

American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) graduate, Army veteran and spouse, Pamela Chavez, discovered how her food choices played a vital role in her physical and mental health when she began drinking one green smoothie daily.  Her journey toward eating nutritional food lead her to not only feeling better but after suffering several miscarriages it resulted in her giving birth to three healthy children.

When the family was stationed in Korea, Chavez began taking online classes through ACHS where she learned the science behind the anecdotal success she experienced. ACHS helped Chavez discover her passion. Her excitement led her to start an online business “Nutrition to Heal Yourself.” Her goal is helping others see the benefits of holistic living and how food can transform their lives.

As a medic in the military, Army wife and mother, she knows first-hand how stress effects the body and describes stress as “fast food on the body.” Someone can be eating all of the right things and still won’t be healthy if they are not managing their stress properly. What she learned at ACHS about proper nutrition and treating herself holistically opened the door to a new world.
