Portland, Oregon—May 7, 2013—Last week, American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) announced its four new fully online holistic nutrition, aromatherapy, and herbal medicine Master of Science degree programs open to students with Bachelor of Science degrees in all disciplines.

"These accredited programs provide students interested in teaching and/or working in the healthcare industry the opportunity to follow their heart, offering them the specialization they have been asking for in choosing a holistic health modality that allows them to broaden their knowledge in the field of integrative medicine," says ACHS President and Founder Dorene Petersen.

Portland, Oregon—March 14, 2013—American College of Healthcare Sciences is proud to announce that it will offer three new five-week, 1-credit courses in time for Summer Semester starting May 20, 2013. The new courses include LIB 101 Online Research Literacy, WR 101 Writing Skills, and CT 101 Critical Thinking, which are specifically designed to help complementary alternative medicine (CAM) students to refine their research, writing, and critical thinking skills in the field. All three courses grant credit towards the College’s Associate of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine (AASCAM) degree program.

American College of Healthcare Sciences Approved to Participate in Title IV Federal Student Aid Programs

Portland, OR—October 9, 2012—American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) announced that it has been approved by the US Department of Education to offer Title IV federal financial aid to qualified students in ACHS’s online Associate of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine degree program. This includes Pell Grants, the American Opportunity Credit, the Lifetime Learning Credit and eligibility for student loan deferment, which are all available to qualifying enrolled students.

Portland, OR—October 17, 2012—American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) has partnered with Imagine America as a participating institution in the national Imagine America sponsored Military Award Program (MAP) and Adult Skills Education Program (ASEP) scholarship programs. The ACHS MAP scholarship offers veterans with expired military benefits and spouses of active duty servicemembers a one-time scholarship of $1,000 toward tuition. The ACHS ASEP scholarship offers this same opportunity to students age 19 and up.
