Dr. Jacqueline McGrath Promoted to Professor at American College of Healthcare Sciences Specializing in Herbal Medicine and Integrative Health

This promotion recognizes Dr. McGrath’s expertise in herbal medicine and integrative health, her contributions to supporting student and graduate success, and her service to the ACHS community over the past six years.

As part of her ongoing pursuit of excellence in education and practice, Dr. McGrath engages in ongoing professional development, demonstrating her commitment to being at the forefront of her field and a leader in learning and teaching at ACHS. Finally, Dr. McGrath actively engages in professional organizations along with all ACHS faculty, demonstrating her commitment to staying current with advancements in her field, fostering collaboration, and enhancing her teaching methodologies to ensure the highest standards of education for her students.

 

As a recipient of ACHS’s Distinguished Teaching Award, Dr. McGrath’s dedication and effectiveness in the classroom are supported by the experiences shared by her students and the projects she collaborates on with colleagues at ACHS. Dr. McGrath’s service to ACHS extends beyond the classroom. Her leadership on the Sustainability Committee and Assessment Leadership Council has been invaluable, contributing to the college’s mission of promoting sustainable practices and academic excellence.

In addition, Dr. McGrath’s scholarly contributions, including webinars, publications, and projects such as “Nature Cures: Power of Ecotherapy,” “Plastic Free: Healthy Body, Healthy Earth,” and “Oceans of Plastic – A Global Problem with Local Solutions,” have enriched both our academic community and the broader global communities we serve.
