Melissa McMahon is the ACHS Chief Financial Officer. Melissa has always had a passion for higher education and accounting. She received an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Previously she received her M.S. in Accounting and B.B.A. in Accounting, both from the University of North Texas. Melissa received her B.S. in Food Service Management and A.S. in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
Prior to her arrival at ACHS, Melissa was the Vice President for Business Affairs for over four years at Western Oklahoma State College. She oversaw the accounting and personnel departments, the bookstore, and food services.
Before her work in education, Melissa focused her career on accounting. She worked for BP Energy Partners, a private equity company sponsored by T. Boone Pickens, and MUFG Capital Analytics. While working on her Accounting degree, she stayed busy managing several restaurants in and around Dallas, Texas.
Melissa resides in Altus, Oklahoma with her husband, Dan, and daughter, Piper. She enjoys cooking with ingredients from her garden and traveling.
