Admissions Frequently Asked Questions

Transcripts: Learn more about accepted transcripts online here.

We will need official transcripts for each college you have attended and high school or equivalent if you are applying to an undergraduate program. If you are applying to a graduate program we will need official transcripts for each college you have attended, no high school.

Once we have received all of your required transcripts the date will updated in the transcript received field. Transcripts can take up to an average of two weeks to be received.

Letter of Recommendation: Submit your letter of recommendation online here.

Amanda Heller
Director of Enrollment Services

Amanda joins the ACHS team with more than seven years’ experience in admissions advising. She earned a BS in Speech Communications from Oregon State University (OSU) and proceeded to earn her MBA from ITT Technical Institute.

Amanda’s passion for education started when she began teaching Public Speaking classes at OSU. When she left college to pursue her career, she realized that she did not want to be in any other industry.  Amanda loves helping people figure out their career goals and follow their passions, and seeing them be successful. Admissions is a very rewarding experience that has shaped who she is today.

Shannon Miller
Admissions Advisor

Shannon Miller joined American College of Healthcare Sciences in June 2022, bringing her experience as an academic advisor and school counselor to support her new role. Shannon developed a love for academic advising and assisting students with reaching their full potential, two attributes that will help guide prospective students at ACHS.

Originally from New Jersey, Shannon received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Albright College in 2017 and her Master of Science in School Counseling from Villanova University in 2019. She currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is excited to work as an Admissions Advisor and be a part of the ACHS community!

Molly Sykes
Senior Admissions Advisor

Molly is originally from Northern Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2008 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and later obtained a Masters of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Molly has three years’ experience in national and international sales, as well as five years’ experience in higher education admission counseling. In her free time, you can find Molly at yoga class, backpacking, traveling, or enjoying the latest documentary at home with her family.

Senior Admissions Advisor

Amy joined ACHS in 1995 after graduating from Washington State University with a BA in Sociology, and she has worked in both Student Services and the Admissions Department as she enjoys the interaction of working with people and assisting them to pursue their educational and career goals. In addition to her work with the College, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and getting away to the Oregon Coast as much as she can. She loves to spend time outdoors participating in activities such as hiking, golfing and skiing.

Jessica is a native Floridian.  She graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2002 and has since earned a Master’s in Higher Education Leadership.  She has had the pleasure of working in higher education admissions since 2007 and loves what she does!
