What Does a Holistic Health Education at ACHS Cost?

As an ACHS student you will benefit from an accredited online undergraduate or graduate certificate, diploma, or degree and enjoy innovative programs and comprehensive curriculum. You will have unlimited, one-on-one access to your instructor 6 days per week; your instructor has been carefully selected on merits such as technical expertise, clinical experience, educational background, training, and the quality of attention he or she will give you.

Your instructor will focus on providing a highly experiential education using the latest educational training and best practices and serve as your academic guide throughout your chosen course.

Undergraduate Tuition and Fees

ACHS has two undergraduate tuition rates – Applied Certificate programs and all other undergraduate Certificate, Diploma, and Degree programs. Please refer to each course listing under Academics for an estimate of the total course price including tuition, textbooks, materials, and shipping for each course. To calculate the price for a Program simply look at each total course price for each of the courses in the Program you are interested in.

2026-2027 Undergraduate Tuition Rate effective July 1, 2026: $170 per semester credit for Applied Certificate program courses; $435 per semester credit for all other programs.

Estimated Total Annual Expense for Tuition

The 2026-2027 estimated minimum total annual expense for tuition in an undergraduate degree program at ACHS is $10,440 based on the tuition rate of $435 per credit hour (24 semester credits completed per year). 

Tuition does not include registration fees, course materials, including textbooks and supplementary materials, or shipping of course materials. Please note these figures may vary depending on transfer of credit accepted.

Graduate Tuition and Fees

This tuition rate applies to all graduate Certificate, Diploma, and Degree programs. Please refer to each course listing under Academics for an estimate of the total course price, including tuition, textbooks, materials, and shipping for each course. To calculate the price for a Program, simply look at each total course price for each of the courses in the Program you are interested in.

2026-2027 Doctorate Tuition Rate effective July 1, 2026: $735 per semester credit

Estimated Total Annual Expense for Tuition

The 2026-2027 estimated minimum total annual expense for tuition in a graduate degree program at ACHS (Masters degree) is $11,970 based on the tuition rate of $665 per credit hour (18 semester credits completed per year). 

The 2026-2027 estimated minimum total annual expense for tuition in a doctorate degree program at ACHS is $11,760 based on the tuition rate of $735 per credit hour (16 semester credits completed per year). 

Tuition does not include registration fees, course materials, including textbooks and supplementary materials, or shipping of course materials. Please note these figures may vary depending on transfer of credit accepted.

Costs Not Covered by Tuition

  • Registration fee: $200 per program, payable at enrollment. Students enrolling in single courses pay a registration fee per course, based on $30 per credit, not to exceed $200 per registration.

  • Computer: Each student will need a computer with internet access that meets the minimum technology requirements (view requirements at https://achs.edu/student-services/technology-requirements

  • Recommended reading: All required textbooks are itemized in the Total Course Price. Faculty may provide additional optional recommended reading; purchase is not required.

  • Additional fees apply per course for required course materials and textbooks, and any required lab materials.

Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance used at ACHS includes estimates of students’ expenses for housing & food, books, course materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and personal expenses, along with tuition and fees to determine eligibility for financial aid each academic year. Corporate Training and Group Discounts*

Consumers prefer to shop at stores and support companies with knowledgeable staff. All ACHS programs are suitable for corporate training, and ACHS can customize training packages for corporate training needs. Corporations and other organizations may qualify for group training rates. Group training rates are only available to verified employees of participating corporate partners and members of participating membership organizations. If a course is dropped during the semester in which the student received a tuition discount, the discount will be pro-rated accordingly.

The following groups currently qualify for a group tuition rate:

  • Members of the Alliance International Aromatherapists – 10% tuition discount
  • Members of American Herbalists Guild – 10% tuition discount
  • Members of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy – 10% tuition discount
  • Members of Natural Products Association – 10% discount
