Herbal medicine is a rapidly growing modality. With more and more people using herbal remedies as a health support, there is an increased demand for sound research, education, and quality practitioners. According to the AHG, the Symposium will “host some of the world’s leading herbal educators delivering cutting edge presentations on a wide range of topics in herbal medicine.”

The Symposium will feature a keynote address from renowned herbalist Phyllis Hogan on the burgeoning discipline of ethnobotany (the study of customs of traditional cultures concerning plants and their medicinal, spiritual, and cultural uses). There will also be lectures on herbs for migraines, cannabis as a treatment for Lyme disease, how to safely combine herbs and pharmaceuticals, and more.
