The focus of the Certificate in Aromatherapy is holistic clinical aromatology. Holistic aromatology focuses on the use of essential oils to support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. ACHS uses the terms “aromatherapy” and “aromatology” interchangeably throughout the program.
Meets the curriculum requirements of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists’ Professional Aromatherapy education standards
ACHS Aromatherapy graduates have a five year (2015-2019) success rate of 100% on the Aromatherapy Registration Council National Exam leading to registration as a Registered Aromatherapist
Meets the aromatherapy education requirements for NAHA Level II and AIA Professional Level for existing health professionals such as Massage Therapists, Herbalists, Nurses, Physicians, etc per the NAHA requirements. Graduates that are not existing health professionals are also required to complete qualifying anatomy and physiology training. [1]

At ACHS, students would complete the following undergraduate courses to study all NAHA required body systems NAT 210 Anatomy & Physiology I, NAT 211 Anatomy & Physiology II, and NAT 212 Anatomy & Physiology III or the following graduate-level courses for qualified applicants NAT 501 Anatomy & Physiology I and NAT 502 Anatomy & Physiology II.
