Amy Swinehart, BA

Headshot of Amy Swinehart ACHS Senior Admissions Advisor

Senior Admissions Advisor

Amy grew up in the Pacific Northwest and, after attending Washington State University, moved to Portland, where her family had relocated from the Seattle area while she was in school. She began working for ACHS in 1996 after being introduced to Dorene by her now husband of 25 years.

She has always wanted to work in the field of education, and when the opportunity arose to work for a school focused on a holistic approach to health, she knew it would be a great fit. She has always been passionate about staying active and maintaining overall well-being.

Over the years, Amy has worked in almost every department at ACHS but found her true passion in Admissions. She thrives on making personal connections with students, ensuring their passions align with their career goals in the integrative health field. In addition to her work in Admissions, she has represented ACHS at numerous conferences, engaging in one-on-one conversations with attendees to share how ACHS contributes to the industry and helps students build lasting skills for their careers and communities.

Amy has dedicated her career to ACHS and the field of education, remaining a committed and long-standing employee. She takes great pride in being part of an institution that has grown significantly and continues to lead in integrative health education. She has also been happily married for nearly 25 years and is incredibly proud of her two children.

“I love to embrace the passion of the students I work with and to help guide them in the right direction for their future.”
