Student Success Coach

Originally from NYC and now living in NJ, Jenn Pizzuto has dedicated over two decades to student success coaching. Her expertise comes from extensive training in best practices, trauma-informed care, and a holistic, strengths-based approach to education. She entered this field by learning from real-world coaching scenarios, educational research, and a deep commitment to leveling the playing field in higher education. Her goal is to support student success by providing guidance, resources, and encouragement along the way.

She was drawn to this organization after being deeply impressed by its commitment to holistic health and student well-being. Seeing how the institution pioneers innovative approaches to education and wellness, she knew it was the perfect place to make a meaningful impact. The dedication to supporting students academically, emotionally, and personally resonated deeply, and she was eager to contribute to a community that prioritizes inclusivity, growth, and overall success.

Throughout her career, Jenn has worked to create access and opportunities for marginalized students. In roles spanning academic advising, student support, and advocacy, she has focused on breaking down barriers and empowering students to succeed. Her experience includes developing inclusive programs, mentoring first-generation students, and connecting individuals with resources that promote access and success. Passionate about fostering belonging, she continues to champion student empowerment and access to education for anyone who chooses this path.

With extensive knowledge of academic advising and coaching styles, she ensures that each student receives personalized support tailored to their needs. Her expertise in student success strategies and whole-person coaching allows her to guide students effectively. Leading with compassion, she creates a welcoming and inclusive space where students feel heard, empowered, and supported in their academic journey. Her commitment to student growth and well-being makes her a valuable asset to the team.

On a personal level, she is incredibly proud of co-raising two amazing identical twin stepdaughters, a journey that has brought immense joy, pride, and personal growth. Professionally, she is honored to have received the ACHS 2024 Staff Excellence in Student Engagement Award, recognizing her dedication to creating meaningful connections and empowering students.

She has also played a key role in co-creating impactful student programming, including the Semester Seminar Series, Welcome Week, and ACHS Spirit Week. Her efforts have helped foster a strong sense of community, engagement, and support among students. By developing initiatives that promote connection and academic success, she continues to contribute to a more enriching student experience and hopes her work leaves a lasting impact.
