Jenn has also served as an Academic Counselor and Accommodation Specialist at CUNY and is a great advocate for an equitable playing field in higher education. She spent many years as the Program Coordinator of Strategies for Success Mentoring Program as a part of the school’s Higher Education Opportunity Program.

As part of her diverse portfolio, Jenn also served as an adjunct professor of English for over a decade. Growing up in the New York metro area, Jenn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing from the College of Staten Island and received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing/ Poetry from Brooklyn College.

Jenn now resides in South River, N.J., where she is involved in her community’s borough Human Relations Commission. She is active in practicing a holistic lifestyle and is a lifelong student of yoga philosophy, specifically how it connects to racial justice work. Jenn believes deeply that engaging with balanced nutrition is the gateway to creating an optimal lifestyle. She lives with her husband, David, twin stepdaughters Sabrina and Liliana, and her dog, Tobias.
