Jill considers it a privilege to spend her professional career supporting students to meet their personal, academic, and career goals through student success coaching. She spent over 8 years working on the Texas State University campus and built a reputation for providing effective and engaging college success coaching and programming to first-generation students, students meeting the low-income threshold, and students with disabilities. Known for her DEI work and creative solutions, Jill is committed to supporting with a human/student first lens. As a first-generation and TRIO alumnus, Jill is a proud product of success coaching, and is excited to join the ACHS Student Success team with the goal to enhance student’s collegiate experience through student success coaching.
When she is not serving in the remote coaching position, she can be found behind a camera, engaging in local activism, on the nearby river kayaking with her wife, or trying to catch a wave on the coast. Jill tries to operate in a peaceful state of mind, guided by her family’s principles of: smiling often, loving without borders, supporting the community, and keeping the kitchen open for all!
