Sarah is a Michigan native and now lives in Southwest, FL.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science and a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition, both from Michigan State University. She completed her dietetic internship through the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. Sarah is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a member of multiple professional organizations that support holistic health.

Sarah has worked in private consulting, clinical settings, and as a health coach in addition to the teaching she has been doing for almost a decade. She formerly published in the Journal of Human Lactation. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, running, pilates, cooking, and being at the beach or on the water. She also has a passion for volunteering in her community.
