ACHS Faculty Awards

The ACHS Faculty Awards Program is the perfect opportunity to acknowledge the commitment and accomplishments of our distinguished faculty! 

Annual Nominations

The current nomination period is now closed and recipients will be announced at the upcoming ACHS Graduation Ceremony. Please check back for details about the next nomination period. 

Rising Star Award

The Rising Star Award is an administration-nominated award to honor an instructor in their first year of teaching with ACHS who has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in supporting ACHS students. Recipients receive a $100 stipend.

Distinguished Teaching Award 

This is a student-nominated award given to two faculty members who have gone above and beyond in the classroom(s) to motivate, mentor, and engage students. Recipients receive a $100 stipend.

Distinguished Faculty Award

This award is self-, peer- and/or administration-nominated award honoring a faculty member who has excelled in service to ACHS including, but not limited to: instructing and supporting students, conducting webinars, participating in curriculum development, excelling at the use of technology in classrooms, and participating in other academic activities that support the institution and its students and graduates. Recipients receive a $250 stipend.
