I have a passion for teaching people how to cook and helping them achieve their best health through holistic nutrition. Throughout my life, I have witnessed illnesses in loved ones and the pain of grief, and because of this I want to bring joy and healing to others who may be suffering. Understanding the deeply rooted connection between our bodies and the natural world is the key to my perception of health. I am grateful for every new piece of information she learns so that I can use this to heal myself and others.

I chose ACHS for her accredited holistic health education because of the variety of holistic health modalities taught and the overall reputation of the school.

How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?

This scholarship will help me achieve my goals by alleviating some of the financial burden associated with higher education.

Do you have any tips for success for prospective students that are thinking about getting started?

I recommend prospective students connect with their passions to discover what it is that they really want to study. From there, I recommend reading the mission statement, vision and alumni comments from the school they hope to attend and make sure it is all in alignment with their own goals.
