Missing Persons Notification
ACHS does not offer staff, faculty or student housing at its campuses. However, if it is determined that a student or staff member has been missing for more than 24 hours, and has not returned to campus, the following actions will be taken:
- ACHS will conduct an initial investigation to determine if the person appears to be missing and whether or not there is reason to believe the person is endangered
- ACHS will attempt to contact the individual using their directory and emergency contact information
- In the event that the individual cannot be reached, ACHS will file a missing person’s report with the local law enforcement agency
- The individual’s emergency contact(s) will be notified
