Portland, OR – The American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) is proud to announce that the college was selected by Oregon Business magazine as one of the 2019 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon. The annual green survey is part of the 100 Best Companies and 100 Best Nonprofits surveys conducted spring and fall 2018. This ranking shows that ACHS’s workplace has implemented a variety of green policies, and that our employees place a high value on sustainability and believe that the college’s commitment to them is exceptional.
It’s a remarkable feat to achieve this honor considering more than 14,500 employees completed the survey. The ACHS faculty and staff located at our Portland campus and who are telecommuting truly deserve credit for this achievement as they are sincerely committed to leading the way to a sustainable economy and embracing ACHS’s sustainability beliefs, mission and practices.
There will be a celebration recognizing the 100 Best Green Workplaces at a luncheon on Thursday, May 30, at The Nines Hotel in Portland. The company rankings will be revealed with a “Top 10 countdown” unveiled in the June issue of Oregon Business magazine.
Headquartered in the John’s Landing neighborhood of SW Portland, ACHS’s mission is to provide: professional online and on-campus education and high-quality natural products with a commitment to sustainable practices and principles.
