Originally from Pennsylvania, Andrew joined American College of Healthcare Sciences after more than 15 years in the craft brewing and distilling industry. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations at a large local craft distillery and now brings that operational leadership experience into a new field.
As Facility and Production Manager at ACHS, Andrew continues his work in operations within a mission-driven educational environment. Supporting ACHS’s focus on holistic health and wellness represents an exciting new chapter for him, and Andrew looks forward to expanding his knowledge in this space.
For the previous 14 years, Andrew was Director of Operations at Westward Whiskey, where he led a team of more than 15 employees and oversaw all distilling, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations. He helped scale production to up to 2,000 barrels of single malt whiskey per year, contributing to the brand’s numerous industry awards.
Andrew’s expertise spans ingredient processing, team leadership, logistics, equipment maintenance, and facility management. He thrives in complex operational environments where success depends on managing multiple moving parts at once.
Professionally, Andrew is most proud of building a new production facility and assembling a high-performing team at Westward Whiskey. Personally, he completed a thru-hike of the entire Appalachian Trail.
“I’m excited to help further ACHS’s mission to improve more people’s wellness in the world. After working in spirits for so long, helping to make the ‘cure’ more available instead is a new and fun turn of events for me.”
