Asheley, originally from Denver, Colorado, now resides in Sarasota, Florida. Raised by high school teachers, she developed an early appreciation for the value of education, which led to a decade-long career in admissions. Throughout her work, she has been dedicated to guiding prospective students toward achieving their educational and professional goals.
She was drawn to ACHS for its commitment to integrity, growth, and recognizing individual strengths. From her first interaction, Asheley recognized a culture that values education while fostering a workplace that is both engaging and purpose-driven. She was particularly impressed by ACHS’s leadership in integrative health and wellness education and its impact on students’ personal and professional development.
Over the course of her career, Asheley has supported countless students in advancing their education and expanding their sense of possibility. She is especially skilled at helping individuals overcome hesitation about returning to school by encouraging self-reflection and confidence. When students express doubt, she often challenges them to consider the potential for success instead.
With a background in Social Work, Asheley brings strong skills in active listening, advocacy, and motivation. She is adept at asking thoughtful questions and creating space for individuals to explore their goals and aspirations.
Asheley takes great pride in her work, particularly in helping students overcome self-doubt. One meaningful success involved supporting a hesitant student who ultimately pursued their education after years of uncertainty. Moments like these—when students credit her guidance as pivotal to their success—are among the most rewarding aspects of her career.
“What excites me about my work is speaking with people who have an idea about what they want but they don’t know how to go about achieving it. With help, guidance, and a well-placed question you can help someone become the best possible version of themselves. Becoming your advisor means that I will be there with you every step of the way. Reach out to me even if you think you have a dumb question.”
