Ilana Rose Frigaard

Chief Operating Officer

Ilana Rose Frigaard was born and raised in rural Oregon. From an early age, she was exposed to the world of essential oils and herbal medicine, as these natural remedies were an integral part of her daily life. Her exposure to international travel at a young age further broadened her perspective, introducing her to diverse cultures, holistic wellness practices, and global business networks. Ilana was inspired by the chance to connect education with real-world industry opportunities, helping students turn their passion for holistic health into fulfilling careers. She’s seen how education can change lives and is excited to play a role in that building partnerships, creating new opportunities, and making sure ACHS stays at the cutting edge of integrative health.

Her career started in sales, where she honed her skills in marketing and business strategy. Working alongside her father, master distiller Robert Seidel, she gained hands-on experience in essential oils, private labeling, and sourcing high-quality botanicals. Over the years, she built expertise in vendor relations, strategic partnerships, and high-value sales, eventually leading an international distribution company.

In February 2023, Ilana joined ACHS as Chief Operating Officer, bringing over a decade of leadership experience. At ACHS, she focuses on expanding industry partnerships, developing business strategies, and driving growth. Her background in product development, private label fulfillment, and supply chain management allows her to bridge the gap between industry and education, ensuring students gain real-world insights into the expanding field of integrative health and wellness.

As the primary contact for the International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades (IFEAT), Ilana plays a key role in sourcing organic, pesticide-free essential oils for wholesale, retail, and academic use. Her ability to connect people, build lasting relationships, and create opportunities makes her a strong advocate for both the industry and those looking to grow within it.

“What excites me most is seeing people pursue their passions. I believe in taking bold steps, embracing opportunities, and making the most of this one beautiful life. The rapid growth of integrative health reflects a shift toward whole-person wellness, and I’m passionate about helping ACHS and its students stay at the forefront of this movement.”
