Joseph Antonini

Production Lead

Joseph Antonini is from Tampa, Florida, and has always had a keen interest in plant science. He got his start processing cannabis to extract the highly refined resin using traditional solvent-less practices. Joe is also a certified cannabis processor and is trained in the traditional practice of Hash making.

Professionally, he is very proud of his accomplishments in the cannabis industry. Starting as a budtender, Joe managed to work his way up into management and then into production, getting hands and weighing in on adopting more sustainable practices for this new emerging industry.

Joe has always been inspired to not only develop plant medicines but also to re-connect and heal our relationship with the earth. The human ecology is a two-way street and it’s important we derive these medicines in a manner that is sustainable to insure that nature continues to provide.

Occasionally, Joe has had the opportunity to embark on a few environmental surveys—studying not only the ecology of our beautiful Pacific Northwest, but also learning about indigenous plant medicines and their applications. This was very important in Joe’s decision to pursue a sustainable career path.

Besides being very meticulous and organized, Joe brings a professional and efficient level of communication to his team. He strives to create an environment that is safe, comfortable, and inclusive for him and all his team members.

Joe is an avid cyclist in the Portland area and has made several contributions with Portland Neighbor’s Welcome in advocating for better housing and less car-centric urban design.

Personally, he would say he is most proud of the life he has created here in Portland, OR. Leaving Florida in what was a bit of a tumultuous time, it has taken a lot of time and dedication to carve out the life he enjoys in this beautiful city.

“I’m most excited to work hands-on with these incredible medicines and to have the opportunity to learn more about their applications and sources.”
