A woman sitting cross-legged in a yoga poseDo you find that chronic stress and emotional fatigue are becoming all too common in your fast-paced world? The intricacies of navigating personal challenges, supporting others in healing professions, or a loss of balance in your daily life make learning to be resilient essential. ACHS is proud to introduce the micro-credential course Cultivating Resilience: Practices to Reduce Stress and Release Trauma,” a self-paced, experiential program designed to help you reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit.

Evidence-Based, Mind-Body Practices

Students will learn how chronic stress and trauma affect the nervous system and discover a toolkit of evidence-based, trauma-informed practices that support self-regulation and recovery. Through guided somatic and mindfulness-based exercises, breathwork, gentle movement, creative expression, nature-based reflection, and journaling, learners gain practical tools for restoring balance, vitality, and emotional well-being.

Building Lasting Resilience: Learning Outcomes

What makes this course unique is its whole-person approach. Rather than focusing solely on theory, “Cultivating Resilience” invites learners to engage in practical, creative exploration. Each module includes opportunities to reflect on personal stress patterns, explore soothing and energizing practices, and even develop a personalized “Resilience Go-Bag”—a collection of tools, rituals, and strategies to sustain calm and clarity long after the course ends.
