Designed to increase your knowledge of natural health, this course contains up-to-date information that is engaging, easy to read, assimilate, and reference. NAT 101 is full of practical tips and is designed to be fun as well as rewarding. NAT 101 is the first step in your holistic health training and is ideal if you have just discovered holistic health and want to know more.
Practice skills for increased health, well-being, and a more natural, balanced way of life.
Describe holistic nutrition principles, herbal remedies, and natural body-care products for improved health.
Evaluate the nutrients, their food sources, and their importance to the human body.
Explain nutritional guidelines throughout the lifecycle.
Practice using herbs and essential oils in teas, infusions, decoctions, tinctures, poultices, drying, first aid, and meal preparation.
Discuss the physiology of the skin, toxins in products, and dry skin brushing.
Develop natural skin care products, household cleaners, and aromatherapy baths.
