Learning Outcomes

  • Evaluate the nutrients, their food sources, and their importance to the human body.

  • Explain nutritional guidelines throughout the lifecycle.

  • Practice using herbs and essential oils in teas, infusions, decoctions, tinctures, poultices, drying, first aid, and meal preparation.

  • Discuss the physiology of the skin, toxins in products, and dry skin brushing.

  • Develop natural skin care products, household cleaners, and aromatherapy baths.
