Integrative Pathophysiology I Online

Overview

This course focuses on pathophysiology and holistic protocols for clients experiencing acute and chronic problems. This course trains students to be able to  understand and explain the basic principles of pathophysiology as well as the mechanical and biochemical changes caused by a variety of diseases or imbalances.

Learning Outcomes

  • Evaluate health concerns to discern when to refer clients to their primary care provider.

  • Compare and contrast allopathic and holistic protocols to provide healthcare options to clients.

  • Employ pathophysiological terms to describe disease etiology.

  • Describe the basic cell changes associated with various disease processes to recognize their pathophysiology.

  • Utilize integrative health principles to create holistic protocols to help clients maintain body homeostasis.

    • 5 ml bottles of the following essential oils: Rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis, Lavender Lavandula angustifolia, Fennel Sweet Foeniculum vulgare var. dulce, and Cardamom Elettaria cardamomum.
