LinkedIn isn’t something you create once and forget.
It’s a professional presence that should evolve as they gain education, experience, certifications, projects, relationships, and career direction. LinkedIn itself describes the profile as a way to manage professional brand, create opportunities, build a network, and document professional milestones.
This one-hour workshop will help ACHS students and alumni transform LinkedIn from a static online résumé into an active career-development tool. Participants will learn how to build a professional and searchable LinkedIn profile, communicate their unique value through their headline and About section, showcase ACHS education and wellness-related skills, use keywords strategically, build meaningful professional connections, network without feeling uncomfortable or “salesy,” find jobs and organizations, engage with industry content, request recommendations, and use LinkedIn to support both traditional employment and entrepreneurship. The workshop will conclude with a practical LinkedIn Career Readiness Checklist so participants leave knowing exactly what to update and what actions to take next.
