ACHS Dean Lori Holdren Joins AMATYC Executive Board for 2026–2028 Term

Portland, ORJanuary 22, 2025The American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) is proud to announce that Dr. Lori Holdren, BS, MA, PhD, Dean of General Education at ACHS, has been elected to serve on the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) Executive Board as the Northwest Vice President for the 2026–2028 term.

In this national leadership role, Dr. Holdren will represent two-year college mathematics educators throughout the Northwest, advancing AMATYC’s mission by providing high-quality professional development, advocating and collaborating at all levels, and fostering vibrant learning communities for all engaged in the first two years of college mathematics education. Her election reflects both her longstanding dedication to mathematics education and her commitment to academic excellence, access, and innovation in higher education.
