Dean of Institutional Effectiveness & Library Services

Born in San Diego, California, and raised in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Chou began her career as an academic librarian, fostering a passion for education and helping others achieve their academic goals. This passion led her to pursue a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, which opened doors to leadership roles and allowed me to serve as an institutional effectiveness leader.

Her journey with ACHS started as a librarian, and later transitioned into the role of Dean, driven by her commitment to empowering learners and advancing educational excellence. Her role working as a student worker at the University of Oregon Knight Library shaped her career as a librarian and academic leader.

Dr. Chou has an extensive background in academic assessment, educational leadership, research, project management, and librarianship. She is proud to be a 2023-2024 WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy Cohort Member.
