Career Services Advisor

Jessica grew up in Ojai, California, where a close-knit community shaped her passion for helping others. She began her career as a classroom aide supporting students with diverse learning needs, an experience that inspired her to become a school counselor. In that role, she guided students academically and personally, helping them build confidence and make important life decisions.

She later transitioned into higher education, working in admissions and career services with a focus on helping individuals find meaningful academic and professional direction. Drawn to a holistic approach to education, she is passionate about supporting the whole student and connecting them with opportunities that align with their goals and values.

Jessica’s experience across K–12 and higher education has given her a comprehensive understanding of the student journey, from early academic support to career placement. She brings expertise in career coaching, student engagement, and employer relations, and is known for building authentic connections that help students identify their strengths and pursue fulfilling paths.

With a background in counseling and education, she also has a strong personal interest in integrative health and wellness. She is especially proud of the impact she has had on students’ confidence and success, as well as her role as a mother, which has deepened her empathy and strengthened her commitment to helping others grow.

“What excites me most is helping people align their careers with who they truly are. In the integrative health and wellness field, that alignment feels even more meaningful because the work students go on to do has a direct impact on improving others’ lives. Being part of that journey and helping someone find purpose, direction, and confidence is incredibly fulfilling to me.”
