Shawn is a professor at American College of Healthcare Sciences and the founder of Splash Coaching & Consulting. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the wellness industry. His career highlights have included service to an impressive assortment of luxury hotel and spa brands across North America and Hawaii, including roles as Vice President for Freedom Spas, Vice President for Red Door Spas, Vice President North America for Premier Salons, Executive Director for Bacara Resort & Spa, Corporate Spa Director for Plus One Health Management, and Spa Champion for Hawaii and French Polynesia for Starwood Resorts.
Academically, he holds an advanced degree in Complementary Alternative Medicine (M.S.) and undergraduate degrees in health promotion (B.S.) and business administration (A.S.). Shawn holds multiple professional wellness coaching certifications, culminating from intensive training through Mayo Clinic and Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. He is nationally board-certified as a health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC) and also credentialed (PCC) through the globally recognized International Coaching Federation.
