Stephanie joined American College in 2012. She came to ACHS with six years’ experience as a Director of Financial Aid, Financial Aid Auditor, and Veterans Education Specialist. Stephanie has a B.A. in History and Political Science from Loyola University in Chicago and an MBA in Finance and Nonprofit Management from Regis University in Denver. She is also a member of both the Oregon and National Associations of Student Financial Aid Administrators and President of the Oregon Association of Veteran School Certifying Officials (ORAVSCO).
Stephanie is a world traveler and has lived in various parts of the world. She moved to Portland with her daughter in April 2012 to be closer to the mountains and ocean. Stephanie is quite the outdoor enthusiast. In her free time she enjoys yoga, mountaineering, and scuba diving. She is a member of the Mazamas Mountaineering Organization and a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. Stephanie is also passionate about holistic health practices and maintains a sustainable organic lifestyle. She has also taken several classes at ACHS to build her knowledge base in holistic nutrition.
