Tiffany is from Texas and earned her Ph.D. in biomechanics at Texas A&M University. Early in her career, she led a data team at a hospital in San Diego, using analytics to improve patient outcomes. She soon recognized the power of data to drive decision-making beyond healthcare and transitioned into higher education as a Director of Institutional Research. Her passion for institutional effectiveness deepened after attending the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy. Since then, she has dedicated her career to helping colleges and universities use data to enhance strategic planning, accreditation, and student success.
With over 20 years in higher education, Tiffany has focused on leveraging data and innovation to improve student success and institutional effectiveness. She began her career in healthcare, applying analytics to enhance patient outcomes, but quickly saw how data-driven decision-making could transform education. ACHS stood out to her as an institution that not only prioritizes students but also embraces data and innovation to drive continuous improvement. Being part of a college that shares these values allows her to apply her expertise in meaningful ways that support both students and the future of education.
As Dean of Institutional Effectiveness with Laureate Education, Tiffany traveled to multiple institutions, collaborating with leaders to develop strategies and prepare for accreditation. This experience deepened her understanding of how data-driven decision-making shapes institutional success. She also co-authored Institutional Effectiveness: How an Integrative Approach Drives Achievement, exploring innovative approaches to institutional effectiveness. These experiences strengthened her commitment to using data and innovation to drive meaningful change in higher education.
Tiffany brings expertise in institutional research, outcomes assessment, and institutional effectiveness, helping institutions use data to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. In recent years, she has also focused on how AI can enhance student learning, optimize processes, and streamline operations in higher education.
Beyond data and innovation, Tiffany is passionate about mentoring. She has been fortunate to have incredible mentors throughout her career and strives to support future leaders in navigating and shaping higher education.
Professionally, she takes pride in her work in institutional effectiveness, particularly her role in supporting multiple institutions through accreditation and strategic planning. Co-authoring Institutional Effectiveness: How an Integrative Approach Drives Achievement was a significant milestone, allowing her to contribute to the field. She is also proud of her focus on AI in education, exploring how it can enhance learning and streamline operations. Personally, Tiffany finds great fulfillment in mentoring future leaders in higher education and, most importantly, being a mom—watching her daughter grow and learn is her greatest joy.
“What excites me most is being part of an institution like ACHS that prioritizes accessible, high-quality education. ACHS’s commitment to flexible learning and student success ensures that more individuals can pursue their passion for integrative health and wellness. I’m proud to contribute by using data and innovation to support strategic planning, student retention, and institutional effectiveness—helping ACHS continue to provide opportunities for students to thrive and make a meaningful impact in their communities.”
