American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) to Participate in the 2024 AiA Conference
Portland, OR – August 14, 2024 – American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) is proud to announce its participation in the 2024 Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AiA) Conference, scheduled for September 26-28, 2024, in Nashville, TN. This year’s conference, themed “Embracing and Composing Sustainable Aromatics,” aims to delve into the evolving landscape of the professional aromatherapy community.
This marks the first in-person AiA conference post-pandemic, offering a valuable opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts to reconnect and engage in meaningful dialogue about sustainable practices in aromatherapy. ACHS is excited to contribute to this pivotal event through various engagements, including a presentation by ACHS Dean of Aromatherapy, Amanda Lattin, BA, MAT, Dip. Aroma., MH, RA.
Amanda Lattin will deliver her highly anticipated session, “Aromatherapy in Holism Part II: Research and Application,” on Saturday, September 28th. Her presentation will explore the latest research and practical applications of aromatherapy within the framework of whole person health and scientific holism theory, underscoring ACHS’s commitment to advancing the field through education and innovation.
In addition to the conference, ACHS will host a meet and greet event on Wednesday, September 25th, offering attendees the chance to network with fellow students, alumni, and ACHS leadership. This event will provide insights into the future of online education and foster connections within the aromatherapy community.
ACHS encourages its aromatherapy students and graduates to actively participate in the conference by submitting posters and case studies.
