ACHS Aromatherapy Dean Elected AIA Vice President

American College of Healthcare Sciences Aromatherapy Dean Elected Vice President of Alliance of International Aromatherapists

 

Portland, OR – November 6, 2025 – American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) proudly announces that Dean of Aromatherapy Amanda Lattin, BA, MAT, Dip. Aroma., MH, RA, has been elected Vice President of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). 

The AIA was founded in 2006 and represents professional and clinical aromatherapists. AIA shares that it “aims to increase awareness of and expand access to aromatherapists, help its members build successful practices, expand the body of aromatherapy research, and serve as a resource for members, the media, and the public.” 

“We are extremely proud that Dean Lattin has been elected Vice President at AIA. Dean Lattin is an experienced and committed aromatherapy educator and will be a strong contributor to advancing practice standards and evidence-based research clinical aromatherapy research in this role,” shares ACHS President Tracey Abell.  

ACHS is recognized as an AIA Advanced Practitioner Level 3 school and meets AIA’s stringent clinical aromatherapy curriculum requirements. ACHS has been offering evidence-based integrative aromatherapy programs since 1978, developed by Founding President Dorene Petersen who continues to contribute clinical knowledge and expertise alongside Dean Lattin who oversees all aromatherapy programs. Programs include aromatherapy training for beginners such as ACHS’s Holistic Aromatherapy for Integrative Health™ micro-credential to advanced practice degrees such as the Master of Science in Aromatherapy and the only accredited doctorate degree with an aromatherapy specialization, the Doctor of Science in Integrative Health
