In LHA 510, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the science of living well across the adult lifespan. You’ll examine the physiological, mental, emotional, and lifestyle factors that influence longevity and healthy aging. Through an evidence-based, integrative approach, you’ll also consider how healthy aging principles can inform wellness education, professional practice, and individualized approaches to long-term well-being.

Analyze the physiological, mental, emotional, behavioral, and social dimensions of aging, including the biological hallmarks of aging, in order to inform integrative wellness strategies.
Evaluate research on longevity and age-related conditions in order to individualize evidence-based integrative support practices, including the mechanistic rationale for nutritional, botanical, and lifestyle interventions.
Apply aromatherapy and other sensory- and movement-based integrative interventions to support healthy aging, wellness, and longevity across diverse populations.
Design healthy integrative wellness approaches, grounded in the biological mechanisms of aging, in order to meet the needs of diverse aging adults.
Explore global examples of healthy aging populations in order to inform optimal wellness practices.
