6 DIY Wellness Massage Oils

Bringing wellness into the lives of your clients begins from the moment they step into your business. From the music, the temperature, the lighting, and of course, aromatherapy, your client can begin to experience your offerings before they even relax on the massage table.

Try a few of our DIY massage oil recipes below. Aromatherapy massage oils are a perfect way to incorporate whole wellness into your sessions or into your personal self-care routine.

Tips: 

  • Choose a base oil that works best for your clients.
  • Make a larger volume! The recipes below can be scaled to the volume necessary for your wellness practice. 
  • Use in a diffuser: All blends can also be used in a diffuser; note exclude the base oil when preparing as a diffuser blend.

Nourishing Massage Oil 

    • 1 drop Lavender Oil Lavandula angustifolia
    • 1 drop Neroli Oil Citrus aurantium
    • 1 drop Rosemary Oil Rosmarinus officinalis
    • 1 drop Thyme Oil Thymus vulgaris
    • 2 tsps Base Oil

Partner Connection Massage Blend

  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang Oil Cananga odorata
  • 1 drop Cinnamon Oil Cinnamomum zeylanicum
  • 1 drop Orange Oil Citrus sinensis
  • 2 tsps Base Oil

Soulmate Massage Blend Recipe

Soulmate Massage Blend

  • 2 drops Jasmine Absolute Jasminum sambac
  • 2 drops Neroli Oil Citrus aurantium
  • 2 drops Rose Oil Rosa damascena
  • 2 tsps Base Oil

Mild & Mellow Massage Blend

  • 1 drop Chamomile Roman Oil Chamaemelum nobile
  • 1 drop Lavender Lavandula angustifolia
  • 1 drop Rose Oil Rosa damascena
  • 2 tsps Base Oil

 Wholesome Massage Blend

  • 1 drop Chamomile Roman Oil Chamaemelum nobile
  • 1 drop Lavender Lavandula angustifolia
  • 1 drop Sandalwood Oil Santalum album
  • 2 tsps Base Oil

Calm Massage Blend recipe

Calm Massage Blend

  • 8 drops Lemongrass Oil Cymbopogon citratus
  • 6 drop Chamomile Roman Oil Chamaemelum nobile
  • 6 drops Jasmine Absolute Jasminum sambac
  • 4 drops Rose Oil Rosa damascena
  • 4 Tbsps Base oil
