Julia WashburnJulia Washburn capped a distinguished 35-year career spanning the Peace Corps, America’s National Parks, and George Washington University. As a park ranger, environmental educator, museum studies professor, and public lands manager, Julia spent decades fostering community connections with nature and expanding access to public outdoor spaces.

That deep connection to the natural world sparked a fascination with the therapeutic power of plants and a curiosity that ultimately led her to the ACHS aromatherapy program. As her expertise expanded, so did her vision: she dreamed of starting an all-natural skincare business grounded in ethical sourcing, botanical integrity, and holistic wellness. Enrolling in the Diploma in Aromatherapy, Master Aromatherapist program was the pivotal first step in bringing that vision to life.
