Every third Wednesday in October, institutions across the nation celebrate Financial Aid Day, a time to recognize the dedicated professionals who guide students through the complex world of higher education funding. At ACHS, Financial Aid Day holds special importance. It reminds us not only of the behind-the-scenes work of our financial aid team, but also of the life-changing opportunities that become possible when students have access to the resources they need to pursue their education.

Why Financial Aid Matters at ACHS

For many of our students, pursuing a degree or certificate in holistic health isn’t just about advancing their careers. It’s also about fulfilling a personal mission to improve the health and well-being of their families, communities, and beyond. Financial aid opens the door to education that might otherwise feel out of reach. Whether through federal aid, scholarships, payment plans, or military benefits, our goal is to ensure students have access to the tools they need to succeed.

“At ACHS, we believe financial aid is more than a process. It’s a partnership. Our goal is to empower students with the knowledge and support they need to make confident, informed decisions about their education and their future.”

Stephanie North, ACHS Director of Financial Aid

The ACHS financial aid advisors work tirelessly to support students as they navigate options, complete paperwork, and make informed decisions about their investment in education. Their work is deeply student-centered, grounded in ACHS’s mission to make high-quality holistic health education available to learners worldwide.

Empowering Student Success

We offer guidance and resources to make higher education more affordable. By connecting with our financial aid department, students can create a personalized education plan and financial evaluation tailored to their goals and career aspirations in holistic health. Our team helps students navigate obstacles and identify the best strategies for funding their education.

ACHS provides a variety of funding options and cost-reduction techniques. These include in-house semester and monthly payment plans (PIPs), private and federal student loans, and benefits for veterans or active military personnel. Employer tuition assistance is available through companies like Boeing, Humana, and Sprouts. Additional opportunities include AmeriCorps Education Awards, grants, scholarships, loan deferments, and tax credits. Students are encouraged to explore all options and consult our financial aid team to find the best solutions.

Celebrating the Broader Impact

Financial Aid Day offers a chance to reflect on the larger impact of education. When ACHS students graduate, they bring their knowledge into their communities as holistic health practitioners, educators, and advocates. The ripple effect of one student’s success often extends far beyond the classroom.

On Financial Aid Day, ACHS extends deep gratitude to our financial aid professionals and to every staff member who contributes to helping students achieve their dreams.
