Driven by a deep curiosity about the connections between food, lifestyle, environment, and long-term health, ACHS alumna Tanya Ceballos enrolled in the Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition program to move beyond conventional, symptom-focused approaches to wellness. She sought a strong scientific foundation that would empower her to help others uncover the root causes of imbalance and support lasting health outcomes.
A Transformative Educational Journey
Tanya’s experience at ACHS transformed the way she views health and healing. Through her studies, she shifted from focusing on symptom management to identifying underlying patterns and contributing factors that influence well-being. The program strengthened her ability to combine evidence-based nutrition with a holistic, whole-person perspective, creating a balance between scientific research and the body’s innate wisdom.
“My education deepened my commitment to evidence-based nutrition while honoring the body’s innate wisdom, a balance that continues to guide both my life and my work,” Tanya shares.
Beyond shaping her professional goals, the program also influenced her personal lifestyle choices, providing greater clarity, purpose, and confidence in her path forward.
Building a Wellness-Focused Career
Today, Tanya is putting her integrative approach into practice through several exciting ventures. Earlier this year, she launched a health and wellness podcast, Science of Our Wellness, on Spotify and Podbean, where she interviews experts and thought leaders from across the wellness industry, sharing both research-backed insights and personal experiences.
In addition to podcasting, Tanya launched her health coaching career and is pursuing professional board certification to further enhance her ability to support clients in meaningful and sustainable ways. Looking ahead, she hopes to expand her impact by developing her own wellness product designed to promote everyday well-being.
Tanya has also launched her website, Science of Our Wellness, and her magazine, which features wellness practitioners and coaches throughout Florida.
Words of Wisdom for Future Practitioners
When asked what advice she would offer current and prospective students, Tanya encourages them to stay connected to the passion that inspired them to begin their educational journey.
She emphasizes the importance of remaining curious and asking questions, noting that no idea is too small to explore. According to Tanya, moments of curiosity often lead to the most meaningful discoveries and opportunities to make a positive impact on others’ lives.
