Abbey Skinner earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Alternative Medicine in 2011 from Everglades University while serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Abbey has always had a passion for holistic healthcare and nutrition, which prompted her to separate from 14 years of service in May of 2014 to follow her dreams of helping others and continuing her education.

Abbey is currently enrolled in her second year of study toward her Master of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH); she will graduate in December 2018 and immediately begin her CNS internship. She also is in the process of earning her Brain Health Coach Certification with the Amen Clinics.

Abbey is a former instructor for the Community College of the Air Force where she taught airborne communication courses. She has trained under Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo on the Blood and GenoType Diets and has earned a Fellow and Master Instructor Certification from the Institute for Human Individuality (IFHI). She also holds two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Information Systems Technology and Instructor of Technology and Military Science, as well as an associate degree in Liberal Arts from Saint Leo University. Abbey is also an ACHS graduate and holds a Diploma in Holistic Health Practice (HHP).

Abbey’s hobbies include: World travel, anything outdoors, researching, nutrigenomics, meeting new people, cleansing, spending time with loved ones, inspiring others, and sleeping at least eight hours every evening!
