Abbey is committed to lifelong learning and studies various topics of interest in the Complementary and Integrative Health field, to include:

  • Tai Chi Easy Instructor – 2021
  • Whole Health Coach, Veterans Affairs – 2021
  • Whole Health Partner, Veterans Affairs – 2021

In addition to teaching at ACHS (Sep 2015), Abbey works as a Whole Health Coach and Whole Health Partner at the Fargo, North Dakota VA Healthcare System, where she ensures Veterans at 18 different geographical locations (and those who don’t know about us yet… is that you, Veteran?!?!) are aware of the new holistic/whole health approach to healthcare the VA has implemented nationwide – how exciting!!!

In her spare time Abbey enjoys… any and everything in nature (camping, hiking, biking, walking, fishing, sitting on her balcony, and don’t forget hanging hammocks in random places!!), shopping for organic foods, exercise in any form, taking an infrared sauna (come on sweat/detox!), listening to music – especially classical, reading, studying, researching, world travel, getting a solid 7.5 hours of quality sleep and looking for new artwork!  She adores her family, appreciates life and loves, loves, loves to help others find their joy in this world.
